In a bizarre collaboration that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
